The Wellfleet Recreation Committee offers a variety of fun-filled activities
for residents and visitors. Register for the programs and swimming classes at
Baker's Field at the Harbor starting in July on Mondays at 8 AM. Pre-registration
may be done by mail.

Baker's Field Programs--Activities involving arts, crafts, sports, field
trips, etc. are held Monday-Friday, 9AM-12 Noon, for ages 5-14 (Children
must be 5 by July 1).

Swimming Classes are held at Gull Pond for Tots up to Advanced Life
Saving for ages 3 and up.

Tennis is available for children and adults. Mondays from 4-6PM is for adult round robin play. Group lessons for children ages 5-14 are part of the rec program on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Tennis court time at Baker's Field may be reserved by calling (508)349-0314.

Square Dances on the Town Pier begin the first Wednesday of July and are held from 7:30-10:00 PM every Wednesday through late August. Fun for the whole family!

The Skateboard Park at Baker's Field is open 10AM-7PM daily. Helmets are REQUIRED. Other safety gear is strongly recommended. The park is primarily a skateboard park. Roller blades are allowed at off-peak times with the permission of the monitor. Children 12 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. No fee.

Music at Baker's Field Tent offers performances of all kinds of live music during July and August. Dates and times to be announced. Schedule is posted at Bakers Field, and at the Beach Sticker office. Donations accepted.

Wellfleet Oyster Festival Weekend is scheduled annually on the weekend after Columbus Day weekend. A weekend full of activities. Food tasting, a road race, oyster shucking contests, music, scholarship auction, etc., etc., etc
