Annual Wellfleet Guidebook Cover Competition

The 2021 Annual Guidebook Cover Competition went virtual this year and was a WILD success!

Contest entries were displayed on this webpage, giving our Chamber community an opportunity to view the show and cast a virtual ballot for the 2021 cover- and we recorded more participation from artists and voters than ever before.

Only ballots cast by Wellfleet Chamber members (and Friends) determine the first, second and third place winners. First place member vote will adorn the 2021 Guidebook, while second and third place will receive recognition in the printed Guidebook, including an image of their artwork. Individuals who are not members of the Chamber determine the winners of the “popular vote”.

Congratulations to all the winners!

Thank you for participating in this annual contest.

The Annual Guidebook Cover Competition is a long-standing Wellfleet Chamber tradition that began forty plus years ago to support artists in “The Art Gallery Town”– and so it was important for us adapt the model to continue its legacy.

Each year thousands of copies of the Guidebook are printed and distributed to visitors in Wellfleet and across the Cape Cod region, and available virtually on our website, thus providing the winner a unique opportunity to share their artwork with a wide audience.

Voting for the Guidebook Cover is a benefit of membership, if you are interested in being included in a future jury vote please explore business and friend membership opportunities.
