Annual Wellfleet Chamber Guidebook Cover Competition
The Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Guidebook Cover Competition virtually again in 2022!
Artists were invited to submit work of an easily recognizable Wellfleet scene that will be featured on the cover of the 2022 Wellfleet Chamber Guidebook. Each year thousands of copies of the Guidebook are printed and distributed, giving the winning artist a unique opportunity to share their work throughout the region.
The artwork submission period has closed, many thanks to all the artists who entered their work– as always, there are many impressive entires– it’s going to be a tough choice!
The virtual Guidebook Cover Competition Art show will go live on Friday, October 8 and be displayed through October 28. The winner will be announced on October 29. Chamber Members and the Wellfleet community are encouraged to view the show and cast a virtual ballot for the 2022 cover.
Ballots cast by Wellfleet Chamber members (and Friends) determine the first, second and third place winners. First place member vote will adorn the Guidebook cover, while second and third place will receive recognition in the printed Guidebook, including an image of their artwork. Individuals who are not members or friends of the Chamber determine the winners of the “popular vote”.

Thank you for your support of this annual contest.
The Annual Guidebook Cover Competition is a long-standing Wellfleet Chamber tradition that began 40+ years ago to support artists in “The Art Gallery Town”.
Each year thousands of copies of the Guidebook are printed and distributed to visitors in Wellfleet and across the Cape Cod region, and we are proud to support artists and provide the winner a unique opportunity to share their artwork with a wide audience.
