The gallery in Wellfleet's oldest barn shows works of local cape artists.
Off Main Gallery is housed in an 1875 barn in downtown Wellfleet. Beginning its second season, the gallery is a welcome addition to our vibrant gallery town.
The gallery’s mission is to think locally, exhibiting the paintings, collage, prints, photography of Outer Cape and other Massachusetts artists, including Phyllis Ewen, Terry Gips, Barbara Gordon, Kathleen Jacobs, Susie Nielsen, Susan LeFevre, Carol Ridker, Robert Shreefter, Jon Verney, Hanni Woodbury, in addition to other artists who will have work showcased throughout the summer.
Also as a community gallery, we have ample space indoors and out for poetry readings, musical events and arts demonstrations intended to help build and strengthen local ties and creativity for adults and children through the arts.
During our season, we will have a group show for our grand opening, May 26th and then continue with fifteen weeks of solo exhibits, ending September 20th. Running through Oyster Fest and beyond will be our second large group exhibit.
Open from late May through October.
