Wellfleet Guidebook

The Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce is a year round, non-profit organization whose aims are to represent the business community, assist visitors and promote communication between residents, guests, and town agencies. Two of its main contributions are the publication of a vacation Guidebook and the operation of an information booth in South Wellfleet, off Route 6 near the Post Office and General Store.

What's the story with our newest members, T.A. Edwards & Sons?! Owned and operated by Thomas Edwards and his son, Chad Edwards, it started as a small operation in 2009 (think: two full-time employees, who are also the owners, and working out of a two-bay garage), and has quickly grew into a respected local resource for year-round residents, second homeowners, local business owners, garden enthusiasts, and everyone in between.

The year-round business now employs over a dozen hardworking tradesmen and women, most of whom are longtime friends, and/or related. It's more than just a work crew, it's an oddball family of sorts.

And don't forget about Sonflowers, the mom-and-pop style garden center, which has established itself as a local favorite for garden enthusiasts. Combined with T.A. Edwards & Sons landscaping services, they can offer something other garden center's cannot.

It's garden season, stop by and pick up some goodies!

Aw shucks... wish I was there!

Scott Feen Do you go today?

We are psyched to welcome @thefryingpangallery as a new member of the Wellfleet Chamber!

The Frying Pan Gallery was opened in 2009 in a 100 year old oyster shack on Wellfleet Harbor that had previously been boarded up for over 50 years.

The gallery is curated and run by Steve Swain and his wife, local musician Sarah. Sarah is also founder of the local non-profit Cape Wellness Collaborative and the annual Cape Cod Women's Music Festival. Over the years the gallery has grown into a beloved feature of the Wellfleet harborfront. Sarah is passionate about creating a welcoming art space that features the work of Steve and the 20+ local artists; painters, jewelers, ceramicists, photographers, glass artists.

Check out their site and have a look next time you stroll the harbor loop! www.fryingpangallery.com
